Do not rinse the EZ-Clean Membrane filter cartridge horizontally under tap water. When opening or closing the Katadyn BeFree water filter, do not hold or squeeze the EZ-Clean Membrane filter cartridge with your hands, as this can damage the hollow fiber membrane within the filter.
Filter Cartridge Usage Precautions
Do not touch the hollow fiber membrane of the filter cartridge with tools or fingers.
