COGHLAN'S #8408 Lightweight Trowel / Cat Hole Trowel

The COGHLAN'S lightweight trowel is an essential tool for every hiker and backpacker. Not only is it lightweight and portable, but it also boasts outstanding durability, making your outdoor digging tasks effortless.
This compact trowel is designed for easy transport. Whether you need to dig a cat hole or perform other tasks, it handles the job with ease, helping you effectively follow LNT (Leave No Trace) principles.
It is highly recommended to dig your cat hole in areas with rich organic soil, as the high concentration of microorganisms helps accelerate the decomposition process. Locations that are sunny and slightly damp are ideal, as they facilitate faster decomposition and make digging easier.
To adhere to Leave No Trace principles, it is recommended to dig a small hole 15 to 20 cm deep and ensure it is at least 60 meters away from water sources, campsites, or trails. After use, please remember to cover the hole and camouflage it to maintain the natural landscape.
With the COGHLAN'S lightweight trowel, you can explore the outdoors with greater confidence while ensuring that you leave no trace with every step.

COGHLAN'S
