• Locks even when grabbed: The ASAP® LOCK remains locked on the rope even if the user grabs the device during a fall, enhancing fall arrest reliability.
• LOCK function to reduce fall distance: The locking function allows the user to fix the device on the rope to reduce potential fall distance and prevents the rope from being blown upward in strong winds.
• Supports use on various rope orientations: Can be used on vertical, horizontal, or inclined ropes, suitable for work at heights, rope access, and rescue scenarios.
• Compatible with 10 to 13 mm ropes: Suitable for ropes with a diameter of 10–13 mm; the star-wheel design maintains functionality under various conditions such as ice or mud.
• Easy and fast installation and removal: The safety catch design allows for installation and removal at any point on the rope, offering intuitive operation for environments requiring frequent movement.
• Connect arm prevents dropping: The connect arm ensures the system remains captive when passing intermediate anchors, making movement and passing anchors smoother.
• Can be used with energy absorbers: Depending on the scenario, it can be used with the ASAP’SORBER AXESS energy absorber for two-person rescue (up to 250 kg) or the ASAP’SORBER 20/40 for users weighing up to 140 kg, establishing a complete fall arrest system.
