A satellite tracking communication device specially designed for outdoor adventures. Through the global coverage of Iridium satellites, you can send and receive text messages no matter where you are.

Rental method

• Rental days and fees

  • Rental minimum 3 days
  • Rentals can be rented for up to 6 days. For special itinerary requirements exceeding 6 days, please contact Line customer service.
  • Late return: $150/day (late return fee will be deducted from the deposit)

• Logistics costs

  • The total logistics cost of shipping and returning is $280 .
  • When returning, please use 7-11's special box and do not need to pay for shipping.

• Appointment time

  • You can make a reservation up to 60 days before the event.
  • Please make sure to make your appointment at least 4 days before the pickup date.

• rental period

  • The first day of the rental period is the collection day, and the last day is the return day. For example, if you choose to rent from May 1st to May 5th, the machine will be delivered before May 1st and please return it on May 5th.

• deposit

  • A deposit of 12,000 yuan is required for renting. Please complete the transfer within 3 days after making an online reservation.
  • When returning the machine, the deposit will be refunded after confirming that there is no shortage of accessories and that the appearance and function of the machine are normal.

• Payment method

  • Pay by remittance. After the order is completed, the system will send a confirmation letter with the payment account number to your member email.
  • After the remittance is completed, please send the remittance certificate to Line customer service. Once the information is confirmed, the appointment will be completed.

Pickup and Return

• Pickup: We will use Hsinchu Freight to deliver the items to your home. Please choose a weekday for the pickup date and avoid Saturdays or national holidays to ensure that you can receive the package as scheduled without affecting your schedule.

• Return: Please put the items back into the included 7-11 carton, pack them properly, send the package to the 7-11 supermarket for shipping, and send the consignment note to Line customer service to complete the return. Shipping costs are included and you don’t need to pay extra.

Cost Calculation Instructions

• The daily rent under the government subsidy program is 0 yuan until the subsidy is used up.
• Minimum 3 days per rental, maximum 6 days
• Send default reporting message: 0 yuan/message
• Satellite text message: 1 message per day, $0, more than $20/message
• Delayed return: $150/day <br>If the equipment is returned late, it will seriously affect the rights of the next user. We attach great importance to the timely return of equipment. Precautions for use

• For the best satellite signal, hang the inReach on your backpack or upper body. inReach needs an open and unobstructed sky to maintain a smooth signal to transmit messages, track location, or use the SOS function. Therefore, there may be poor signal conditions in caves, dense forest shades, or narrow valleys, and it may be necessary to It takes several attempts to successfully send the message. If it is located in a location with poor signal, the device will continue to try to transmit the signal until it is successfully transmitted, which will also increase battery consumption.
• Those left behind must know the contents of the mountaineering itinerary. Because when the SOS function is enabled, the injured will be contacted through the left-behind person before rescue arrives, so the left-behind person must know the itinerary to achieve the most efficient rescue.
• Please be sure to return the machine on time to avoid affecting the rights of the next user.
• Battery usage reminder: inReach Mini2 is preset to send the location every 10 minutes when it is turned on. In an environment with poor signal reception, the machine will continue to send signals until it is successfully sent, which will consume more power. If you continue to use it in such an environment, the battery life is officially estimated to last up to 4 days, so be sure to bring a mobile power bank with sufficient power. (In order to save power consumption, it is also recommended to set the machine to "stop tracking" when arriving at the designated rest point, but don't forget to press "start tracking" when setting off!)
• When you receive the machine, please be sure to test whether all functions can be used normally.

Damage and loss billing method

• Machine lost or damaged beyond repair: NT$12,000
• Charging cable and shackle are damaged or lost: 300 yuan
• If the machine is damaged and can be repaired, the deposit will be refunded after the actual repair costs are deducted.

• Send SMS

When encountering a special situation and the default message cannot be described, you can type the message content yourself. However, the buttons of inReach mini 2 are not easy to operate. It is recommended that the mobile phone download the GARMIN Messenger app in advance and connect it to the inReach Bluetooth. After entering the message in the app, you can Direct transmission.

• Sending and receiving messages from the left-behind party

It is recommended to use mobile phone or e-mail as the main communication channel.
The satellite message received by the left-behind person includes the coordinate position, message content and location link. If you want to send a message to the user, you must click on the link to reply to the message. (Please do not reply directly to email or text messages, because the other party will not be able to receive the message!)

Tracking

• After clicking "Start Tracking", inReach will start sending the location regularly. We will provide a fixed and exclusive URL for left-behind people, which can check the user's real-time walking track at any time. The frequency of sending is preset to every 10 minutes.
• The tracking function is automatically turned on by default, that is, after turning on the phone, inReach will automatically start tracking the location. If you want to stop, click "Stop Tracking".

SOS

• When the situation is urgent, the user can open the SOS protective cover and press the button. The message will be sent to the International Emergency Response Coordination Center (overseas) to notify relevant rescue units and left-behind people in Taiwan, and contact the injured through the message.
