The outer rim of Petromax enamel products is finished with 304 stainless steel. While this helps prevent the enamel coating from chipping due to bumps, its primary purpose is to reduce the temperature at the edge, making it more comfortable to drink hot beverages without burning your lips.

Care Instructions:

Do not heat the enamel bowl when empty and never use it in a microwave.
Enamel bowls are acid-resistant, easy to clean, and do not easily retain food odors.
Simply air-dry the enamel bowl after washing.
Handle with care to prevent impacts that could cause the enamel layer to chip.
If food stains remain, soak the bowl in a mixture of baking soda and hot water to restore its original color.
Enamel products are hand-glazed and fired at high temperatures (800°C). It is difficult for the glaze to adhere perfectly to the edges, so minor bubbles and unevenness are normal characteristics of enamelware and are not considered defects.
