Redesigned cup shape

The Shiraz cup has long-lasting popularity due to its wide range of uses in outdoor activities. It can hold both solid food and liquid soup, and can also be heated directly with a fire source. Therefore, we conducted research based on the various uses of the Sherpa cup, and re-adjusted the opening and bottom diameter, as well as the angle and height of the bowl wall, to obtain the Sherpa cup that is most suitable for various scenarios.

Three finger width handle

Like a regular mug, it's most stable when held with three fingers. Since most Sherpa cups on the market can only be held with two fingers, we adopted a three-finger-wide handle to achieve better stability.

The scale mark in the center of the bowl wall

Depending on the usage scenario and dominant hand, the scale line is placed in the center and displayed so that users can clearly see it from the left or right side.

Handle distance that is not easy to conduct heat

The handle is kept at an appropriate distance from the edge of the bowl wall. It is also less likely to feel hot when using a fire source for heating. Also, the distance between the handle and the wall of the bowl doesn’t make it difficult to hold.

Bowl wall thickness is 0.3mm

Taking into account the convenience of use by mountaineers, it is necessary to achieve an ultra-lightweight design while ensuring sufficient durability, so the thickness of the bowl wall is set to 0.3mm.
