Energy absorber for ASAP/ASAP LOCK : The PETZL ASAP'SORBER AXESS is an energy absorber designed specifically for use with ASAP LOCK and ASAP mobile fall arresters. It serves as a critical connection component for rope access work, work at height, fall arrest systems, and rescue operations.
New model L071CC00, lighter weight : Compared to the previous model L071CB00, the new model L071CC00 reduces weight from 205g to 140g, maintaining the 40cm length and professional fall-arrest capability while further reducing equipment load.
User weight limit increased to 140kg : The new design is suitable for users weighing up to 140kg; compared to the previous 50–130kg range, the new model offers a higher upper limit and greater configuration flexibility.
Can be used for two-person rescue scenarios : The ASAP'SORBER AXESS can be used for two-person rescue scenarios, with a maximum load capacity of 250kg, making it ideal for rope access technicians who may need to perform rescue missions.
Keeps the user at a distance from the rope : Allows the user to work at a distance from the lifeline, reducing the chance of the rope coming into contact with work surfaces, sharp tools, or hazardous areas, thereby improving rope protection.
Limits impact force during a fall : The internal tearing webbing gradually tears during a fall to help absorb impact energy, reducing the force transmitted to both the user and the system.
Flexible webbing, allows the fall arrester to move more smoothly : The flexible webbing design allows the ASAP or ASAP LOCK to move more smoothly along the rope without interfering with work movements.
Durable pouch can be opened for inspection : The tearing webbing is stored in a durable fabric pouch to protect it from abrasion and dirt. The pouch can be opened to facilitate periodic inspection of the webbing inside.
Replaceable pouch for easier maintenance : The new model specifically supports pouch replacement; if the pouch wears out prematurely due to use, it can be replaced with the ASAP'SORBER AXESS storage pouch L071EC00, increasing maintenance flexibility.
