HILLEBERG Tarp 10 Tactical
-
High Shading and Concealment:
- Uses opaque fabric that allows minimal light penetration under the scorching sun, making it particularly cool for summer use.
- When illuminated at night, the light source is almost invisible from the outside, providing excellent concealment.
- Military-Grade Design: Originally designed for military use, emphasizing concealment and anti-detection. It exceeds standard recreational camping needs, resulting in superior comfort and privacy.
-
Fabric Material:
- Constructed with 70D ripstop nylon with a polyurethane/silicone coating, offering a tear strength of 8 kg.
- The fabric has low elasticity; prolonged rain may cause seepage at the seams, which can be effectively prevented with SILNET SILICONE seam sealer.
- Versatile Setup: Can be set up using trekking poles, branches, paddles, or suspended between trees, allowing for flexible adjustments based on terrain.
-
Practical Use Cases:
- For alpine trekking, it can be paired with a bivy sack for quick shelter from wind and rain, sacrificing some comfort for weight savings and mobility.
- For camping, it can extend the vestibule space of a tent or serve as a standalone cooking/resting area, offering safer distance from fire sources.
