HILLEBERG Keron 4 GT Tactical Tent

HILLEBERG Keron 4 GT Tactical Tent Military Version

• Dual Design for Light Blocking & Concealment: The military version emphasizes extreme light-blocking and stealth capabilities. The outer tent fabric provides high-efficiency light filtration, keeping the interior dark and cool even under intense sun. At night, light from within does not leak out, and the combination of black guy lines and non-reflective materials provides superior concealment and privacy.
• High-Strength Fabric: The military version uses 70D polyurethane/silicone-coated ripstop nylon with a tear strength of 8kg. While slightly lower than Hilleberg’s Black Label Kerlon 1800, it still provides robust protection.
• Repairable Waterproofing: Due to the lower elasticity of the material, water seepage may occur at the seams during rain. This is a characteristic of the fabric rather than a defect; applying SILNET Silicone seam sealer effectively repairs the tent and restores its waterproof performance, extending its service life.
• Tactical-Grade Specifications: Derived from military design, prioritizing concealment and durability, it offers increased comfort and privacy for recreational campers.
• Summer Comfort: Thanks to its excellent light-blocking and thermal insulation, the tent remains cool in hot weather, making it ideal for summer or high-temperature environments.
• Unique Positioning: Designed for stealth and utility rather than mainstream leisure, this tent is especially suitable for users who prioritize privacy and desire a cool, hidden experience while camping.
• High-Performance Outer Tent Material for Harsh Environments
  • Features 70D ripstop nylon with polyurethane and silicone coating, offering superior durability and a hydrostatic head rating of 5000 mm.
  • A tear strength of up to 8 kg (ISO 13937-4 compliant) ensures the tent remains stable and reliable in extreme weather.
• Concealment and Tactical-Specific Design
  • The outer fabric provides excellent light-blocking and achieves 24%-25% infrared reflectance in the 750-950nm wavelength range, reducing infrared exposure risks in tactical operations.
  • Paired with black guy lines and a non-reflective design, the tent maintains a low-profile, concealed presence in any environment, meeting military and tactical needs.
• Rapid Pitching for Increased Efficiency
  • The inner and outer tents are linked, allowing for one-step rapid pitching, which can be easily accomplished even in the dark or while wearing gloves.
  • Requires only 4 pegs for a basic setup, with multiple anchor points available for stability in severe weather.
• Dual-Door, Dual-Vestibule Design
  • Equipped with one standard and one extended vestibule, it provides ample storage for gear, ideal for gear-intensive missions.
  • Maximizes interior space with a flexible design, supporting multi-directional access for freedom of movement in harsh weather or confined terrain.
• Durability and Reliability
  • Since its inception, the Keron series has been a top choice for Arctic expeditions, known for its simple structure, spaciousness, and superb stability in high winds.
  • The Tactical version has been trusted by various European military units for over 30 years due to its ultra-high durability and stealth characteristics.
• Optional Footprint: Covers the entire area of the outer tent, including the vestibules, and attaches directly to the tent so it can remain in place during setup. (Sold separately)
• Independent Inner and Outer Tent Use: The inner tent can be pitched alone without the outer tent using optional Pole Holders. (Sold separately)
• The Hilleberg Keron GT Tactical series combines superior design with high-performance materials, achieving a perfect balance between weight, stability, and spaciousness.
• The GT series features extra-large vestibules to accommodate all your gear, providing complete shelter in extreme weather. As a result, the Keron GT is a favorite among outdoor enthusiasts and professionals, including mountain guides, park rangers, search and rescue teams, and military units.
• Whether for outdoor camping, wilderness adventures, or island-hopping tours, the Keron GT is also an excellent choice for family trips; its spacious vestibules offer a comfortable resting area for pets or storage for equipment like sleds and bicycles, providing the best space-to-weight ratio.
