BEAL OPERA 8.5 mm Dynamic Rope UNICORE - GOLDEN DRY

• Opera 8.5 is the first dynamic rope on the market weighing less than 50 g per meter. Integrating various BEAL technologies and holding triple certification as a single, half, and twin rope, it is the top choice for climbers seeking extreme lightweight performance.
• Ultra-Lightweight Design: Weighing only 48 g per meter, it is the lightest and thinnest single rope on the market, and the first dynamic rope to drop below 50 g.
• Single/Half/Twin Triple Certification: A highly versatile design that adapts to various climbing needs. Whether for sport climbing (as a single rope), trad climbing, or ice/alpine climbing (as a half/twin rope), OPERA demonstrates exceptional adaptability.
• Supple Handling: Soft to the touch and smooth to operate, it is suitable for diverse scenarios including indoor, sport, trad, and alpine climbing.
• Low Impact Force: Effectively cushions the impact on the human body and protection system during a fall, enhancing climbing comfort and safety.
• Multipurpose Application: Perfect for advanced climbers pursuing ultimate weight reduction, serving as a reliable choice for multi-pitch, high-altitude, and ice/snow terrain.
• UNICORE Technology: This technology physically bonds the rope core and sheath, completely eliminating sheath slippage. If the sheath is cut, the core remains intact, allowing the climber to continue ascending or descending past the damaged area, ensuring emergency escape capability.
• GOLDEN DRY Treatment: A dual waterproofing process applied to both the core and the sheath, providing the rope with superior water and ice resistance in damp conditions. It effectively prevents the rope from swelling due to water absorption and enhances abrasion resistance, extending its service life.

• THERMO FLUID Treatment: Utilizing infrared technology to treat the rope fibers, THERMO FLUID stabilizes the sheath fibers for more uniform yarn and a tighter, more compact structure, thereby improving handling. This design makes the rope easier to use, more durable, and reduces the risk of tangling or fraying.
• Black Limit Middle Mark: The center of the rope is marked with an official, durable black ink indicator. This helps climbers instantly identify the midpoint when setting up rappels or managing rope length, significantly improving efficiency and ensuring safety. (Please note: The 200m bulk version does not feature the middle mark to facilitate custom cutting; it is recommended to use a dedicated marking pen after cutting.)
• Exclusive idN Tracking and BCC Color Code: Facilitates equipment tracking and management, ideal for climbers requiring high performance and longevity.
• Certifications: EN 892:2012+A3:2023, UIAA, CE.
