The Beal CORDELETTE 6 mm is one of the most essential "functional" accessory cords in climbing gear. It strikes a perfect balance between lightweight design, flexibility, and bite, serving as the standard specification for creating Prusik knots and self-belay systems.
Precise Bite: The 6 mm diameter provides an ideal thickness ratio when used with main climbing ropes, allowing for rapid locking upon knotting. It delivers excellent friction-braking performance without feeling overly bulky during operation.
Superior System Strength: With a breaking strength of up to 8.2 kN (approx. 820 kg), it offers highly reliable support in environments requiring stable load-bearing, making it a trusted backbone for building complex auxiliary systems.
Excellent Knotting Fluidity: The cord features a fine sheath texture and a flexible structure, ensuring it remains easy to tie and untie even after repeated loading.
Ideal Grip and Handling: The 6 mm diameter offers a solid feel that is gentle on the hands. Whether tying knots (such as Prusik or double fisherman's knots) or handling it manually, it ensures superb control.
Ultra-Lightweight: Weighing only 22.8 g per meter, it significantly reduces harness weight for long-route climbers who need to carry multiple extension loops or spare cord slings.
Exclusive idN Coding and BCC Color Coding: Each cord is equipped with a unique identification code and color coding for easy gear management and usage tracking.
Certifications: EN 564:2014, CE, UIAA.

To protect consumer rights and safety, this type of technical equipment is non-returnable and non-exchangeable (except in the case of manufacturing defects). Please confirm your order carefully before purchasing!
