Product details

The Beal CORDELETTE 6 mm is an essential "functional" accessory cord for climbing gear. It strikes a perfect balance between lightweight design, flexibility, and grip, making it the industry standard for Prusik knots and self-belay systems.
Precise Grip: The 6 mm diameter provides the ideal thickness differential against main ropes, allowing for rapid locking upon knotting. It delivers excellent friction-based braking performance without feeling bulky during operation.
Superior System Strength: With a breaking strength of up to 8.2 kN (approx. 820 kg), it provides highly reliable support in environments requiring stable load-bearing, making it a trusted pillar for building complex auxiliary systems.
Excellent Knotting Smoothness: Featuring a fine sheath texture and flexible construction, it remains easy to tie and untie even after repeated loading.
Optimal Handling and Operation: The 6 mm diameter offers a firm, non-abrasive feel in the hand. Whether tying knots (such as Prusik knots or double fisherman's knots) or manual adjustment, it ensures excellent control.
Ultra-Lightweight: Weighing only 22.8 g per meter, it significantly reduces harness weight for long-route climbers who need to carry multiple extension loops or backup slings.
Exclusive idN Coding and BCC Color Code: Each cord is equipped with a unique identification code and color code, facilitating easy gear management and usage tracking.
Certification: EN 564:2014, CE, UIAA.
