Product details

Hollow Fiber Membrane Filter: Filters down to 0.1 microns, effectively blocking bacteria, protozoa, and microplastics, providing you with the cleanest water.
Easy to Clean: Featuring EZ-Clean Membrane™ technology: when the flow rate drops, fill the pouch with water, reattach the cartridge and shake it vigorously, or hold the cartridge and swish it in water to clean it; untreated source water can be used, and no backflushing or tools are needed. However, the outlet (mouthpiece) must not touch untreated water; keep it clean after cleaning. Hold the pouch end lightly while swishing — do not squeeze the filter itself.
Efficient Filtration: Filters up to 2 liters of water per minute, quickly providing clean drinking water.
Modular Design: 42mm universal threaded connection.
Product does not include flip-top cap, silicone bite valve, or activated carbon filter.

0.1 micron filtration for bacteria and protozoa, such as Salmonella, Vibrio cholerae, E. coli, Giardia, and Cryptosporidium, etc.

Filter Cleaning Made Easy

When the flow rate drops, fill the pouch with water, reattach the cartridge and shake it vigorously, or hold the cartridge and swish it in water to clean it; untreated source water can be used. However, the outlet (mouthpiece) must not touch untreated water; keep it clean after cleaning. Hold the pouch end lightly while swishing — do not squeeze the filter itself.

Proper Use and Maintenance

After use, please clean thoroughly with clean water and allow all components to air dry completely to prevent mold.

Filter Usage Precautions

Do not rinse the EZ-Clean Membrane filter horizontally under tap water. Do not hold or squeeze the EZ-Clean Membrane filter with your hands when opening or closing the Katadyn BeFree water filter, as this may damage the hollow fiber membrane within the filter.
