When and how to use Micropur Forte:

• When traveling, the most common illnesses caused by drinking contaminated water include gastrointestinal infectious diseases (such as diarrhea, cholera, typhoid, giardiasis, amoebiasis, etc.), liver diseases (such as A Hepatitis) and other diseases are transmitted through microorganisms in water. This can happen anywhere, even in water that seems clean, clear and tasteless.
• Micropur Forte contains quantitative and stable chloride ions and silver ions. The correct concentration of chlorine can quickly and effectively destroy bacteria, viruses and certain protozoa, while the silver ions can prevent the water from being contaminated again for up to six months.
• It is suitable for the function of purifying water in the water collection tank. In order to achieve the best effect, the water storage container must be sealed and protected from direct sunlight.

Usage restrictions:

• It can only be used with clean water. Turbid water must be filtered through the Katadyn portable filtration system first.
• We do not recommend using aluminum containers to store water or dissolving powder in small amounts of water.

How to use:

• Add 1 piece of Micropur Forte to 1 liter of water and let it sit for 30 minutes to kill bacteria, viruses and most protozoa.
• The effectiveness of Micropur Forte depends on water quality and temperature. In cold water (<10℃) it needs to stand for 2 hours to kill protozoa like Giardia.
