GRIVEL The Horn Ice Axe Grip Support

Hand support accessory for the bottom of ice axes: The Horn can be attached to the base of an ice axe to provide support for the hand, reducing the risk of hand impact against ice or rock walls while climbing.
Enhances stability when planting the axe: Once installed, it provides a more secure and balanced support for the axe on ice, increasing operational stability.
Removable design: When full use of the ice axe spike is required, The Horn can be removed, allowing for configuration adjustments based on the route and operational needs.
Suitable for leashless climbing: The cover reduces direct exposure of the spike to moisture and external impacts, helping to extend the lifespan of the ice screw.
Compatible with Grivel ice axes: Can be installed on various Grivel ice axes, including older models with a clip hole in the spike.
Lightweight 32g: Weighing only about 32g, it does not significantly add weight to the ice axe, making it ideal for ice climbing, mixed climbing, and technical alpine routes.
Safety reminder: The Horn is designed solely as a hand support for climbers; it must not be used to belay the climber or a partner, nor for any rope maneuvers.
