Product details

The Beal 4 mm accessory cord is compliant with EN 564 and UIAA 102 standards. It is for accessory use only and must not be used as a climbing or belay rope. Despite its extremely thin diameter, Beal’s sophisticated braiding technology ensures excellent durability and abrasion resistance. This is an essential consumable for users seeking extreme weight reduction, those needing to organize complex gear, or those setting up camp.
Excellent strength-to-weight ratio: Weighing only 10.9 g per meter, it boasts a breaking strength of up to 4.4 kN (laboratory breaking value, not an indication of safe working load). It offers highly reliable tensile performance among ropes in its class.
High flexibility and ease of knotting: Made with soft nylon, it maintains excellent suppleness even in low-temperature environments, making it very easy to tie intricate knots.
Superior environmental resistance: Braided with high-density polyamide fibers, it features exceptional abrasion resistance. Always avoid sharp edges and continuous friction during use, and inspect regularly for wear.
Highly portable accessory cord: At only 10.9 g per meter, it packs down to a very small size. Whether for bundling gear or acting as a marker in a system, it provides assistance without taking up space (for prusik loops, please use the 7 mm accessory cord recommended by BEAL).
Unique idN identification and BCC color code: Each rope comes with a unique identification code and color code, facilitating gear management and usage tracking.
Certification: EN 564:2014, CE, UIAA.
Cut-to-length rope—sold by the meter. The quantity ordered will be shipped as a continuous length of rope. For example: order 5 = 5 meters (continuous, uncut)
Order 10 = 10 meters (continuous, uncut)
If you need the rope cut into multiple sections, please specify in the order notes (e.g., 5 meters x 2 sections).
This item is cut to the length you order, so it counts as customized goods and falls under a reasonable exception to the 7-day cooling-off period for distance sales under Taiwan's Consumer Protection Act. The cooling-off period does not apply once the item has been cut; defective or wrongly shipped items can still be returned or exchanged.

Because this type of technical equipment is safety-critical, please confirm it suits your needs before ordering. Returns and exchanges follow our Refund Policy.
