Product details

The BEAL AIR FORCE 1 is a lightweight belay and rappel device specifically designed for single-rope use. Its minimalist yet powerful construction provides an exceptionally smooth rope-feeding experience and reliable braking performance, whether for indoor gym climbing or outdoor lead climbing.
Optimized for Single Ropes: Developed specifically for single-rope systems, it features a stripped-back design that makes the gear lightweight, compact, and easy to carry or rack.
Precise Braking Control: Equipped with deep V-grooves, it provides powerful and steady friction in response to fall impact forces, significantly reducing the physical effort required by the belayer to brake.
Unrivaled Rope-Feeding Smoothness: The precision-engineered groove geometry ensures silky-smooth lead belaying, effectively preventing the rope-jamming issues common with traditional belay devices.
Low-Wear Structural Design: The wide and smooth rope-slot surface significantly reduces frictional heat and rope twisting during operation, effectively extending the lifespan of the rope sheath.
High Compatibility with All Rope Diameters: Offers excellent versatility, suitable for a wide range of dynamic single ropes from 8.5mm to 10.5mm in diameter.
Unique idN Coding: Each belay device features a unique identification code for easy management and tracking of usage, making equipment maintenance more convenient.
Certification: EN 15151-2, CE.
