The BEAL BE SAFE is an HMS pear-shaped manual screw-lock carabiner designed specifically for "double-rope operation" and "belaying/rappelling." Compared to the higher-capacity BE LOCK, the BE SAFE is more compact and lightweight (only 66g) while offering higher longitudinal breaking strength (28 kN), making it an ideal choice for those pursuing a lightweight and high-efficiency belay setup.
Non-overlapping space designed for double ropes: The wide top pear-shaped area is specifically designed to accommodate two ropes.
