Hilleberg's tents use extremely strong Kerlon fabric. Kerlon 1000 and Kerlon 600, with strengths of 8kg and 6kg respectively, are used in all Hilleberg tents. Among the lightest yellow label tents, most tents are designed as three-season tents.

The tear resistance of the Kerlon fabrics we have treated is stronger than other silicone-treated fabrics (usually coatings of silicone and other compounds).

Kerlon 1800, 1200 and 2000 are stronger than the expedition-grade tent fabrics on the market (even our lightweight Kerlon 1000 and 600 are stronger than them).
