The world's top tent HILLEBERG materials and uncompromising quality

Strength, reliability, lightweight, durability

"Strength, reliability, lightweight, and durability" are the material characteristics that Hilleberg consistently pursues. Hilleberg has extremely strict standards and requires every material to meet such standards.

Fabrics that meet Hilleberg's high standards are usually quite expensive. Because of this, Hilleberg’s tents have always had the ultimate reputation in the minds of players. We constantly test various parts such as camp poles, zippers, adjustment tabs, camp ropes, and even the configuration position of the camp ropes to increase the strength and durability of the tent. Whether in the laboratory or outdoors, Hilleberg is always looking for better materials.

Fabric (material), tent material

  • The fabric of the tent is the user's most basic protection. Hilleberg selects fabrics that have passed rigorous evaluation mechanisms in both the laboratory and the field, as well as a variety of performance tests. The material of the outer tent has excellent tear resistance, high water pressure and waterproof coefficient and high color fastness. The protective functions of the materials of the inner tent and the outer tent are different. The material of the inner tent is made with the user's comfort in mind as much as possible. It is lightweight, has both air circulation and breathability, and can prevent moisture from penetrating while also absorbing the water inside. Air is discharged.

The most important base material, in addition to being extremely waterproof, is puncture-resistant and abrasion-resistant. It can still maintain softness and elasticity even in extremely low-temperature environments.

camp pillar

  • Excellent frame supports a high-quality tent. >Because we believe that the poles provided by DAC are as superior as our fabrics, most of Hilleberg's tents use DAC's Featherlite NSL poles. The joints of the NSL poles have almost the same diameter as the poles themselves, which is smaller than It is lighter and stronger than ordinary camp pillars. Each tent is tailor-made to choose the most suitable camp pole length and diameter: Yellow Label and Red Label tents use 9mm camp poles, and stronger 10mm camp poles are used for Black Label tents designed for extreme climates (situations).

Other accessories

  • All materials other than camp posts and fabrics, such as zippers, camp ropes, camp pegs and other accessories, are also subject to rigorous selection and evaluation.

We use YKK zippers, which are the most durable and trustworthy we have found so far; the patented camp rope is a mixture of super-strong Vectran fiber and polyester fiber. The special weave of the camp rope makes the ends less likely to split, is lightweight, durable, and water-absorbent. Low and not deformed due to stress.

All tents use different aluminum camp pegs: the black label tent uses the strongest yet lightweight camp pegs; the red label tent uses camp pegs that are both lightweight and durable; the yellow label tent uses camp pegs that emphasize the poles. Lightweight yet strong camp pegs.

No accessories, no matter how small, can be ignored. The seemingly simple polyester adjustment piece is very easy to adjust whether it is used for wet or frozen camp ropes; whether it is camp pole covers, metal pull rings, camp nail pull ropes, etc., and The adjustable camp nail ring can be easily manipulated in wet and cold environments, even when wearing gloves.
